The Chi-Lites
The Chi-Lites started their career growing up in Chicago,
IL. They were great Temptations fans and in the early
60s they shopped around from record label to record
label getting local record releases. Luck came to them
when Eugene Records penned the song FOR GOD SAKES GIVE
MORE POWER TO THE PEOPLE. It was an instant smash. This
opened the door to their net two classics. HAVE YOU
SEEN HER; AND OH GIRL. These songs made worldwide acclaim.
The Chi-Lites went on to create many hits after those.
Squirl and Marshal continue to take their show on the
road and receiving standing ovations where ever they
perform.
